The basic definition of a sensor is a detector;
A sensor is an electronic device used to detect various types of signals and transmit them to other electrical control devices.
Sensors mainly identify the physical quantities, heat, etc. of gases through distance, temperature, humidity, etc
It provides output to the connected control system in the form of electrical signals.
